Ok, So, What EXACTLY Does AudioPBX OFFER?
Audio PBX offers over 40+ great features packed into a cloud pbx
A PBX phone system can handle high volumes of calls efficiently without requiring additional staff to answer incoming calls. Callers to your business will not receive a busy signal and every phone call will be answered and transferred correctly.
PBX systems are able to forward phone calls to employees in their home offices or in another part of the country. Calls can also be forwarded to employees on the go via their mobile devices.
Nowadays, it is impossible to have all your employees in one location. With VoIP-X’s conferencing, you can have meetings with everyone no matter where they are. All you have to do is call into the conference bridge and you are seamlessly connected to multiple members of your team.
Do you require a more personalized conferencing experience? VoIP-X also offers customized conference rooms to serve those needs. With this additional feature, you can personalize your conference greeting to say anything you like.
Do you have multiple locations? With VoIP-X, all offices can all be reached by the same phone number no matter where they are located.
VoIP-X can be reached by one centralized phone number. You can reach members of your team in other locations by dialing their extension, just as if they were in the same office as you. You can even set up a phone in your home office to be reached by your extension.
The Basics about PBX Phone Systems and How They Can Benefit a Small Business
How Does a PBX Phone System Work?
A PBX system works so efficiently your callers will not notice the actual system your business utilizes. The system provides incoming callers with a professional greeting along with a list of options which they can select from. Callers to your business can reach members of your team or departments with the help of a menu listing or by dialing by extension or name.
When a caller chooses from the list of options available or dials by extension or by name the system will automatically connect them to the correct individual or department. Incoming and internal calls can be easily transferred to members of staff where ever they are, including the main office, a branch office, and home office and even out on a business call.
Your calls can be captured by a voicemail system when you are not available. You can select voicemail to text services or voicemail to email to ensure you receive your business voicemails while you are out in the field.
It is also possible to convert faxes received into email messages and forward calls to you regardless of where you are located. There’s also a screening feature which allows you to concentrate on your work whilst still been available for important phone calls.

Frequently Asked Questions
Basic Questions:
What is “VoIP” and how is it different from traditional telephony?
Voice over Internet Protocol is a technology that enables you to make phone calls using your broadband internet rather than over traditional copper wire lines. Your phone calls are converted to packets of voice data and then sent. You would then make a phone call the same way you would with an ordinary phone. With VoIP, you simply plug your IP phone into an Ethernet connection instead of a phone jack.
The beauty of VoIP technology is two-fold:
1.The quality of your phone calls. You could compare it to the quality when you switch from Standard Definition to HD on your TV; and
2.The cost savings it yields will go straight to your bottom line because you no longer have to pay for your phone company’s outdated and expensive wiring along with their other legacy costs.
What is a Hosted PBX Solution?
AudioPBX hosts all of your PBX needs using our cloud-based platform which eliminates the need for equipment in your office (which will inevitably become an archaic and costly piece of complex hardware).
Not only will this free up physical space in your office, it eliminates the hassles and costs to maintain or trouble shoot when you have problems. If you have multiple locations, AudioPBX can support you without having PBX equipment in each location.
Last, but certainly not least, if you ever need us after normal working hours, AudioPBX provides U.S. based 365x24x7 customer support for your employees who work nights and weekends.
What are the benefits of being hosted?
Being hosted means your employees can work from their home or on the road without sacrificing any features they are accustomed to.
In fact, we will give you features you never knew could exist on an office phone!
We can block incoming SPAM calls, provide you branded conference rooms, or create your own “Ring Groups” to ring multiple extension numbers simultaneously or in succession.
AudioPBX can “host” you wherever you go while saving you over 40% on your existing phone bill. You can even manage your own system by using our web portal from any browser wherever you are.
What’s more, if you lose power at your business or your internet provider go down, simply switch over to your mobile phone by activating the “Call Forward” feature and continue to make and receive calls. You can even continue to send and receive faxes! How cool is that??
Oh, and did we mention, you have free unlimited U.S. minutes, basic conferencing and electronic faxing?
What numbers can’t be ported to AudioPBX?
Not many, actually.
Our research shows that over 95% of all U.S. phone numbers are eligible for “LNP” – Local Number Portability.
If you fall into the 5% of numbers that can’t be ported, AudioPBX will get you another number for your business.
Can we keep our existing phone number(s), even if it’s a toll free number or fax line?
Looking for a new toll free number? Once you’ve become a customer, we can fetch one for you at no extra charge. We can even try and get you a personalized “vanity” toll free number. Just call your account rep
Do I need to purchase new phones or special equipment or can I use the ones I have?
In most cases, yes, and here’s why.
When you purchase, or chose to lease our phones, we have the ability to troubleshoot any issues you may be having in real time. It also allows us visibility to see exactly what the issue is from your eyes, without us having to physically be there.
And while most companies offer an “ATA” or Analog Telephone Adapter solution for analog phones (and for a price of course), or claim you can use your existing digital phones, please be sure you read their “fine print”. Troubleshooting and configuration may NOT be supported if you decide to use your own phones.
AudioPBX is sensitive to your bottom line. For that reason, AudioPBX has created a leasing plan if you don’t want to purchase your phones up front. Hey, we too think a fixed operating cost model can be less burdensome then capital expense model for some.
Is there a separate internet requirement or bandwidth minimums I need to subscribe to?
We do recommend having a minimum of 80-100 kbps up/down of bandwidth per call from a broadband connection in order to maintain quality.
How long does it take to set up, including moving my phone number over to AudioPBX?
Our average turn-around time is within 1 business week.
That includes the ordering and shipping of your pre-programmed phones along with configuring your PBX features.
Porting your number can usually happen within 72 hours, however, should your existing phone provider need longer…we have a solution for that too!
You simply point your existing number to one of our inventoried numbers until the porting is complete.
This would be totally transparent to your customers as we would program your existing business number to appear on your clients Caller-ID, both number and name
Will placing or receiving phone calls be any different including calls to 911?
For 911 calls, we have what is known as “E-911”, or Enhanced 911. We pre-provision your information with the closest Public Safety Answering Point when you sign up for service. Should you ever have to dial 911, all of your information will be on file with them.
